  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients and families in coping with daily
demands and at stressful times
  • Provide personal care that may include but is not limited to: bathing, grooming, skin care,
dressing, toileting, lifts/transfers, mobility assistance, assisting clients at meal time, and otherduties in accordance with individualized client care plans
  • Prepare nutritious meals that accommodate specific dietary needs for clients
  • Complete household tasks that include but are not limited to: laundry, making the bed,
vacuuming, wiping kitchen surfaces, dusting furniture, and other duties as directed by thesupervisorRequirements
  • Must speak fluent Italian
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR and Food Handling
  • Experience in housekeeping duties and preparing light meals
  • Speaks fluent English and is fluent in a secondary language reflecting the community
  • Possesses a caring attitude, good interpersonal skills
  • Available to work shift hours and weekends
  • Willingness to work in remote locations an advantage
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, CasualSalary: $18.00 per hourAdditional pay:
