Proof of vaccination is to be provided upon offer of employment.Position SummaryThe responsibilities of a travel insurance rep are to provide financial protection for travelers and their flights, trips, hotels, cruises, car rentals, or entire vacation packages. The role is responsible for fully explaining travel medical insurance premiums, coverage, and claims information to clients. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond quickly and professionally to all incoming sales inquiries, listening carefully to client needs and using product knowledge to correctly select the right policy to meet customer requirements
  • Return/follow up customer calls regarding new or renewed policies and ensure all relevant information is on hand in order for the client to make a decision
  • Proactively track and contact all annual travel medical clients prior to renewal periods with a focus on the retention of policy
  • Accurately complete medical screening of clients for travel insurance quotes using appropriate systems and complying with all regulatory bodies
  • Consistently achieve/exceed individual and team KPIs (quality of calls etc.) and targets (performance and financial)
  • Provide an excellent customer experience by maintaining a high level of service at all times.
  • Complete administrative work/documentation as required.
  • Inputting and maintaining client records with accurate, high-quality information in order to keep up-to-date knowledge of customer activity
  • All conversations and transactions must be clearly documented, with client confidentiality maintained at all times

  • Excellent communication skills, allowing to quickly build rapport with customers.
  • Strong time management skills, allowing to prioritize given workload
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, producing work that is accurate, orderly and completed on time
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills.
Education & Experience
  • 2+ years of customer experience
  • Inside sales experience considered an asset
  • Must be, or able to become, TICO certified within the first three months of employment
Working Conditions & Environment
  • In-office work environment
  • Frequent inbound and outbound calling with constant communication to others
  • Constant computer work with ability to sit/stand throughout day
