Job Description

Part-Time BaristaWere looking for part-time baristas to join our team at Little Blue House Coffee Co.As a barista, you will bring the Little Blue House Coffee Co. experience to life and delight and uplift customers with every visit. Your work goes beyond a perfectly made coffee; it’s about human connection. You think big but notice the small details. Bonus points if you also love coffee and art!You’d make a great barista if you:

  • Know how to provide a great customer service experience
  • Consider yourself a “people person,” and enjoy meeting others
  • Have a focus on quality and take pride in your work
  • Are open to learning new things and adapting to change
  • Can keep cool and calm in a (sometimes) fast-paced work environment
  • Are comfortable with responsibilities including health and safety, cash handling and store security
  • Are able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
  • No previous barista experience is required!
Basic Qualifications
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Follow store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages, cash handling and store safety and security
  • Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers
  • Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 18-40 per weekSalary: From $15.00 per hourSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
