The Brand Manager, Consumer Activations, plays the critical role of leading marketing efforts designed to win new consumers, drive increased product consumption with current consumers, and build and reinforce brand love. They will deliver, concept to completion, best in class marketing campaigns and contests based on Red Bull Events and Athletes. They will work closely with our On and Off Premise sales teams to provide solutions that support can sales and customer growth objectives, all while upholding the brand personality, values and standards. Plans developed will include innovative consumer activation concepts that touch on compelling creative solutions, packaging design, engaging digital journeys, impactful POS, and advertising to reach the right audience. They will be responsible for engaging the full organization to create excellent 360 Marketing and Sales plans.Areas that play to your strengthsAll the responsibilities well trust you with:CONSUMER ACTIVATIONS (CAMPAIGNS & CONTESTS)Responsible for development and first-class execution of all go-to-market plans for consumer contests; both National and Regional priorities.Foster collaborative working relationships across Field, Sports, Culture, and Media Network teams to optimize overall marketing outcomes of consumer activations.Liaise with global (creative) and external local agencies (creative and media), through strong briefs and providing effective feedback, to develop the most impactful media plan, activation visual identities and promotional tools.Lead development and management of all 3rd party collaborations (eg: securing Canadian IP rights & execution) to optimize opportunities and drive partner engagement, while maintaining brand standards.Manage internal and external legal partners supporting with local contest law; understand the Canadian regulatory landscape as it pertains to sport/fitness to ensure adherence across all activation elements (key visuals, games developed, etc.).Support Sr. Brand Manager in annual business planning for overall Product Marketing strategy and marketing calendar.Support Sr. Brand Manager on marketing initiatives for growing delivery platform (DoorDash, UberEats, etc) and On Premise Key Accounts campaigns as part of extending brand reach.CREATIVE & RETAIL EXCELLENCECollaborate with Shopper and On-Premise Marketing to amplify and strengthen exciting customer marketing activations that bring Red Bull brand priorities to life and meet the business needs of customers across priority channels – gas and convenience, grocery, non-traditional and on-premise.Proactively exchange ideas between Marketing and Sales departments and challenge traditions.Demonstrate creative excellence through developing breakthrough concepts with (digital) innovation, strong visual identities, comprehensive support plans and global best practice programs.Ongoing maintenance and improvement of internal ‘Sales Planning Tool’ for sales team (weekly/monthly).BRAND MANAGERSummarize high quantities of sales data in order to deliver concise and actionable recommendations to sales and distribution teams.Develop presentations to effectively articulate recommendations and insights to leadership teams and other stakeholders throughout the organization.Effectively communicate structural data changes and enhancements to leadership team and other key stakeholders in the organization. Examples of structural data changes include volume and spend planning structure, SKU changes, system change, business process change, etc.Provide information and tools to support Distributor Partners, Distribution Partner Managers, and key account team. Examples include custom surveys, sell sheets, segmentation reports, SKU distribution, and POS tracking etc.BUDGET & WORKFLOW MANAGEMENTClosely manage Consumer Activation budget while ensuring efficient and responsible spends to maximize ROI.Establish processes, timing, required resources and workflow to ensure a smooth and successful cross-functional execution of consumer activations.DATA MANAGEMENTServe as key country lead for all direct-to-consumer, consumer data, privacy, and consumer requests to ensure we adhere to all Canadian standards of operation while mitigating risks.Drive updates and manage all local inputs into global (internal) project management tool to ensure clear tracking of project status and HQ alignments.Your areas of knowledge and expertise
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 5-7 years’ experience in FMCG sector. Ideally as Brand Manager, Retail Marketing Manager, or Trade Marketing Manager.
  • Demonstrated success of building brands and delivering unparalleled consumer experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment; self-starter, and able to work independently with confidence.
  • Clear understanding of markets, sales & distribution, competitor activity, consumer & shopper behaviour, category management & business insights in FMCG context.
  • Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen.
  • Precise attention to detail and project timeline management.
  • Creative thinker and innovator.
  • Ability to manage cross-functionally and up.
