We seek individuals with a positive attitude who are driven to produce extraordinary results and would like to work in an environment that is fun, high energy and collaborative.Job DescriptionThis position reports to the Senior Manager, Reward, Recognition and Colleague Events. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of high-profile (virtual and in-person) internal conferences and meetings for Canadian Branch Banking (i.e. Legends, Bravo, MMS Conference, Branch Banking Leadership Team Conferences, Roadshows,)
  • Manage and lead vendor and stakeholder relationships as required and deal with individuals at all levels of the organization, holding them accountable
  • Identifying all project dependencies and risks, ensuring they are effectively managed and ensuring mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks
  • Execute deliverables within budget, as per approved plan
  • Providing advice, guidance and recommendations to partners across various business lines, as well as an executive audience
  • Managing all communication to key partners, ensuring all parties are aware of significant project changes in a timely manner
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalates issues where appropriate
  • Prioritizing and managing own workload and the workload of team members in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines
  • Work closely with the Event Planners on the team to ensure consistency of communication across projects/events
  • Understand event industry trends, best practices, identifying gaps and opportunities to creatively deliver legendary colleague experiences
  • Promote and support an environment that encourages productivity, innovation, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism
  • Apply appropriate due diligence ensuring accuracy in preparing and promptly completing all required documentation (i.e. reports, PPT Decks, correspondence/communications, etc.)
  • Travel (in/outside Canada) is required for this position
RequirementsProven skills and abilities in the following areas are a must:
  • Highly motivated individual with a proven track record to deliver results
  • Breadth of experience is critical: proven project management experience is preferred
  • Experience with third party vendors with proven ability to influence and impact others, articulate opinions and proactively provide solutions
  • Strong organizational, follow-up and priority-setting skills to handle multiple tasks/projects and to work independently.
  • Ability to remain flexible with shifting priorities and ability to function under deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiating and decision-making skills. Ability to resolve ambiguity and transform vision into execution
  • High degree of professionalism to be able to interact with senior executives
  • Ability to develop, maintain and build positive relationships with partners while demonstrating tact and diplomacy to impact and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to remain resilient during high stress situations
  • Superior knowledge of MS Teams, WebEx Meetings, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook
  • Must have valid passport to be able to travel in/outside of Canada
