  • Perform data analysis using SQL to document the necessary requirements in CIBC’s project planning tool to complete data projects on time
  • Design and perform user acceptance testing on their assigned projects to ensure the implementation matches the requirements of the developed data tables and reports while ensuring the project plan is kept up to date
  • Participate in the review and discussions about ongoing and completed projects by presenting testing results/requirements/learnings to team members and subject matter experts
  • Provide ongoing support to relevant teams through walkthroughs, clarifications, and discovery meetings for projects as well as regular status updates on projects
  • Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a projects timeline or success and escalate these concerns and suggested solutions to the relevant teams for support
Requirements:
  • College Diploma
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Intermediate SQL Skills
  • Experience (academic, professional, or personal) with Project Planning
  • Experience (academic, professional, or personal) with User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience (academic, professional, or personal) with Data Analysis
Nice to have (not required):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
Consultant, Risk AnalyticsFull-time, Temporary (Contract)Toronto - HybridCore Tasks:
  • Extract and analyze data from different AML transaction monitoring systems to identify trends and provide insight
  • Develop reports using Excel and/or BI tools that reflect findings and offer possible explanations or solutions to identified concerns
  • Connect with relevant business partners and subject matter experts through email or Teams to gather any necessary information to assist in your reporting
  • Develop rules and model for the effectiveness of CIBC’s AML transaction monitoring system
Requirements:
  • College Diploma in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Experience (academic, professional, or personal) with SQL
  • Experience (academic, professional, or personal) with SAS
  • Experience (academic, professional, or personal) with Python
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering practices
Nice to have (not required):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience (academic, professional, or personal) with Tableau, Cognos, or other BI tools
  • Experience (academic, professional, or personal) with Microsoft Suite of Applications
