Job Description

During the course of the work term you agree that you will be working from a remote / home office location in Canada in accordance with any applicable RBC policy. You confirm that you have the capability to work from a remote / home location in CanadaWhat is the opportunityIn this role, you will play an active role in supporting RBC Data Ecosystem governance model. Working within the P&CB Data Management Office under the Data Ecosystem Squad, you will have the opportunity to engage with key partners and stakeholders in Digital, Data and Analytics, Cloud, Operations Risk Management and the Chief Data Office in a strategically significant program in alignment with the P&CB Data Strategy.What will you do

  • Requirements gathering activities and assisting in the design, documentation and update of processes geared towards preventing data loss, Access Management and Metadata update
  • Translation of requirements to tangible technical solutions in the setup/development/update of JIRA Service Desk forms, workflow and automation rules
  • Implementation and change management initiatives, such as drafting and distributing communications materials, creating process and technical guides
  • Supporting other project/business as usual deliverables as required
What you need to succeed:Must-have:
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution studying Engineering, Business or Computer Science
  • Development experience (basic script and query writing)
  • Data analysis, with an understanding of environments such as Teradata, Hadoop, AWS and Cloud
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
