This includes innovative products like smart grid meters and door locks to residential solar energy systems and even intelligent hydration trackers.Role DescriptionThis role presents the opportunity to manage a growing team of (12) talented engineers working with a broad spectrum of technologies to build the next generation of IoT products for Smart City, commercial and medical applications. As Development Manager, you will report to the Director of Engineering, and be responsible for overseeing all staff and activities related to the development, testing, and deployment of MMB’s firmware and software products.Your responsibilities include training, managing and mentoring a world-class team of engineers specializing in embedded and software development for the IoT, as well as leading hiring initiatives as we continue to scale. You will define best practices, and lead implementation and administration of the systems and tools your team needs to succeed in their day-to-day work. You will guide your engineers in working with a cross-functional team of architects, hardware designers, and project managers to deliver mission-critical products to some of the largest and most well-known brands and companies in the world.The ideal candidate has extensive experience building, training and managing teams of at least seven engineers, and is comfortable delivering applications across both embedded and high-level environments like cloud and mobile.What You’ll be Doing
