Job Description

We offer housing options, health and well-being support, training and skills development, and ongoing care once youth move into the community.As a primary self-funded agency we raise 75% of our $40 million annual operating budget.Since 1982, Covenant House has supported more than 95,000 young people.View Our Culture: https://www.youtube.com/watchv=KFlhDTljow0&feature=youtu.beRole Overview:The individual is responsible for tasks related to the creation, deployment and tracking of e-campaigns and donor e-communications.Key Result Areas:Campaign Management

  • Maintain and update donor email schedule
  • Execute email campaigns using email management system(s)
  • Manage and update online donation forms to support campaigns including applying appropriate gift array based on segment strategy, tracking coding to assess campaign performance, including online advertising campaigns
  • Set up and link email campaigns to donor segments and donation forms and assign appeal codes
  • Update HTML/CSS email templates and content where required
  • Extract and import email lists by segments and execute campaigns
  • Where required, edit web ready graphics with Photoshop
  • Support development of campaign concept development
  • Assist with the Petitions related campaigns
  • Coordinate with Communications for story content and social media opportunities to enhance campaigns
  • Other duties as required
Reporting and Analysis
  • Maintain and update email reporting documentation including open rates, click through rates, revenue, and conversion results
  • Maintain email address tracking log
  • Create email campaign briefing documents for Donor Services team
  • Work with Data Services team to ensure all email activity is tracked via Raiser’s Edge
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Fundraising, Marketing, or related field
  • Digital marketing experience, minimum 2 years
  • Excellent attention to detail is required
  • Experience with email marketing practices, ideally in a not-for-profit environment
  • Intermediate experience in HTML and CSS coding is required
  • Ability to work with various content management and email management systems
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Fireworks
  • MS Office: intermediate-level experience of excel
  • Knowledge of mobile marketing techniques and best practices an asset
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript an asset
  • Knowledge of Direct Response channels an asset
  • Experience with data extraction and analysis an asset
  • Raiser’s Edge, experience an asset
