Job Description

Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is Canadas largest and most important integrated computer asset disposal and recycling processor. We are committed to the safe and secure reuse of electronics, the responsible recycling of electronics to divert waste from landfills and the recovery of natural resources from obsolete electronics.We are seeking an HR Coordinator to support the Toronto facility!The HR Coordinator will provide timely and professional Human Resources support to the division, while ensuring the appropriate governing legislation is adhered to. They will also act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries from employees. This role will oversee the day-to-day execution of applicable programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with the Organizations objectives and functional HR goals. The HR Coordinator will work closely with the on-site HRBP.This is an on-site role.Employee OperationsProvide guidance and instruction to employees on Human Resources policies, programs, and systems.Create, maintain, and update employee files.Maintain employee tracking for training, absenteeism, work visas.Create and issue employment confirmation letters for employees as requested.Leads the administration process of Benefits and Group RSP programs.Coordinate and participate in social events as required.Actively participates in the development of HR programs and initiatives and supports the implementation and maintenance.Coordinate monthly birthday celebrations.Support Toronto Plant Wide Meetings as needed.Coordinate and maintain employee and agency employee access badges.Maintain and update employee communication boards and TVs on an ongoing basis.TrainingAssist with Onboarding new hires, including New Hire Paperwork and Orientation training records.Maintain agency employee internal training records.Upload internal training records and certificates onto SharePoint.Update employee file including training records and medical exam results.RecruitmentAssists and support recruitment selection as required. Includes but not limited to developing job descriptions, creating, and posting job advertisements, screening candidates, updating career sites, coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting references, drafting offers of employment.Coordinate with hiring agency regarding plant tours, orientation, and assignment cancellation for temporary employees.Send out communication emails for new hire announcement, coordinate with department leader & IT to prepare work tools needed and ensure assets are returned before employee exit.Assist with recruitment initiatives as needed.Reporting and AnalyticsPrepare and issue various monthly reports (absenteeism, recruitment, training, etc.)Support annual merit process using intermediate excel skills.Support semi-annual hourly level rating assessments using intermediate excel skills.Maintain HR Control Tower reporting.And other duties as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsPost-secondary degree/certificate in Human Resources Management.1-2 years of Human Resources experience.Ability to interact with various levels of the organization.Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information.Solid computer skills required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal).Highly organized and has a high degree of attention to detail.Strong analytical skills and superior ability to problem-solve.Quantum is an equal opportunity employer.
