Job Description

The TMX Group Enterprise Client Strategies team is responsible for bringing a strategic and client-centric approach to the business. Functional responsibilities include marketing, branding, digital engagement, communications and public relations.An important member of TMX Group’s marketing team, the Integrated Marketing Specialist will carry a wide range of responsibilities with a unique focus on supporting the execution of key digital marketing initiatives across the enterprise.The ideal candidate must be a confident self-starter, strategic thinker with demonstrated business acumen.The TMX Group Enterprise Client Strategies team is responsible for bringing a strategic and client-centric approach to the business. Functional responsibilities include marketing, branding, digital engagement, communications and public relations.An important member of TMX Group’s marketing team, the Integrated Marketing Specialist will carry a wide range of responsibilities with a unique focus on supporting the execution of key digital marketing initiatives across the enterprise.The ideal candidate must be a confident self-starter, strategic thinker with demonstrated business acumen.Key Accountabilities:

  • Business Unit Marketing
    • Develop and deploy sector marketing campaigns, in collaboration with Senior Manager to ensure appropriate reach and amplification of BU business objectives
    • Assist with creation of brand and marketing activations for Issuer related events such as Market Opens/Closes and other celebrations
    • Collaborate with peers in managing Market Centre marketing activities, including but not limited to, event signage and Market Centre digital signage planning
  • Performance Marketing
    • Deploy a range of digital marketing activities across the Enterprise including but not limited to digital advertising, creation of landing pages, deployment of email marketing campaigns
    • Assist with the development of campaign-specific content, ad copy and messaging
    • Works closely with team to monitor campaign performance and adjust accordingly
    • Develop and report campaign metrics and analysis of results
  • Content Marketing
    • Assist in the creation and execution of content in various forms, including video, email, thought leadership, market reports, industry reports, and product/services guides.
    • Coordinate editing and proofing process through all stages of development.
  • Digital, Web and Customer Analytics
    • Optimize content based on viewing and engagement metrics.
    • Track results and conduct post-campaign analysis.
    • Monitor web traffic and metrics to identify and deploy best practices.
Requirements:
  • BA and/or post secondary education in Marketing and Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant digital marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of the strategic role of content marketing and how it supports business objectives and impacts customer behaviour.
  • Strategic business writing skills to develop meaningful content that engages and tells the brand/product story.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current online digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practices.
  • Experience in marketing automation (Pardot), community marketing, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media
  • Moderate proficiency in HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with video script and storyboard creation
  • Experience with Salesforce Pardot.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong project, time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfort in working individually, within a team and also with senior management.
  • Knowledge and experience within the Canadian financial industry, with investor relations background
  • Bilingualism (French) is an asset.
