Job Description

Volanté is an Enterprise Point-of-Sale company that prides itself on developing leading- edge hospitality technology. What began as a three-person basement project has developed into an industry-leading POS system with a team of over 100 employees in its Toronto, Ontario-based office. Volantés point of sale software has evolved based on customer requests and requirements, and has continuously demonstrated its ability to be flexible, scalable, and reliable in diverse environments. With a never-ending thirst for innovation and an increased workload, were calling on Torontos top tech talent to join the family!We are seeking an IT Administrator who can assist the organization in maintaining daily hardware and systems operation. This candidate has experience with Windows Server, Active Directory Administration, and is motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and preserves when issues arise.WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

  • Prioritize support tickets while maintaining a high level of customer service/communication for internal stakeholder
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of users in company systems
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain networks and IT-related equipment
  • Work with helpdesk to ensure all incidents and requests are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize support tickets while maintaining a high level of customer service/communication.
  • Provide evaluation on new technology and recommendation for origination with IT Technology and process.
  • Assist in other duties assigned by the Manager
  • Provide 24×7 support for critical production systems as required.
  • Support company users with phone systems, MS Office, Zoho ERP, network, Active Directory, Antivirus, etc.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
  • A completed Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a
  • related discipline
  • 1+ years experience in a similar role or capacity
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and Time Management
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • High proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems is required
  • Network and Firewall experience is required
  • CISCO Meraki and CISCO Network Hardware experience is a definite asset
