The Onsite Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to CompuVision clients related to computer systems, hardware, or software. They are also responsible to respond to client inquiries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions with a limited scope of support. In addition to this, the Field Engineer is accountable to onsite support for an assigned client.Responsibilities:Understand and follow “The CompuVision Way”. This is our set of standards and processes that produce a predictable end result for the customer. You must be aware of and maintain our standards.Primary contact for all end user issues; from passwords resets, application and hardware break-fixes, to procuring standard and specific hardware requirements.Respond to, and prioritize walk in requests, as well as escalated requests from service desk.Receive & respond to escalated tier 1, 2, and 3 support requests.Work with senior staff in planning, design and acquisition of new or upgraded hardware and software systems; maintain current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology and recommend modifications as necessary.Establish standard operating and usage policies and procedures for computer acquisition and usage.Implement and maintain VPN networks for remote site offices (including site to site).Work closely with client business unit managers and IT users to assess organizational IT requirements and training needs and develop strategies to implement and support hardware and software toolsDevelops technology designs, cost estimates, resource requirements, work plans and time schedules to meet objectives.Maintain landline phone system using Avaya IP Office Manager.Assist with end user cell phone issues on Blackberry, iOS, and Android devices.Desktop, Server & Network peripheral rolloutsDesktop, Server & Network peripheral ‘break/fixAttend regular onsite client check-ups to ensure top quality service is being delivered.Education Requirements, Skills, and KnowledgeCompletion of post-secondary education in computer science, computer information systems, networking, or systems analysis, supplemented by a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience. Equivalencies will be considered.Microsoft MCSE, MCSA, or MCTIP (in progress or completed)VMWare Experience or CertificationMinimum two years relevant IT experience fully supporting and building SMB environmentsDemonstrated senior level expertise inWindows Server 2008R2, 2012, 2016, AzureOffice 365 Enterprise SuiteActive DirectoryGPO'sRouting and SwitchingFirewallsVPNsVirus and SecurityTCP/IPDHCPDNSThank you for your interest in CompuVision.
