Its about feeling in control and being confident that we can find solutions to whatever problems come our way.Position Summary:We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician for our internal end users to support all hardware, applications and system related issues by phone or email through via ticketing system. This role will focus on ensuring Beanfield’s internal users and systems are following security and privacy requirements.Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical components of onboarding and offboarding internal users which includes but is not limited to: provisioning, activating/deactivating applications such as Jira, Confluence, Email, Chat, BOSS etc.
  • Provide on-going IT support to internal end users across the board
  • Monitor and provide regular tickets updates in Jira
  • Document and suggest recommendations to process workflows to assist systems team
  • Administration of internal application platforms Jira, confluence and other applications as needed
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure systems comply with policy, security, and privacy
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma with post-secondary degree or diploma in networking or similar studies
  • Customer service and/or help desk experience
  • Experience providing IT support
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence or a similar software
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation
  • Strong skills with macOS and Linux
  • Knowledgeable of computer networking
  • Knowledgeable of common internet services like DHCP, DNS, Email (SMTP, POP3/IMAP), HTTP
  • Basic understanding of Python, BASH or similar
  • Basic understanding of SQL databases
