This role’s primary location is Horsham, PA or Toronto, Canada with consideration given to other J&J campuses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania or within the U.S. and Canada. Proud to be an equal opportunity employer.The Lead Analyst, Finance Technology Solutions (FTS) North America will act as a bridge between the business and IT organizations, focusing on business process improvements utilizing the latest technologies in the areas of financial system design and implementation, Enterprise Performance Management and Planning and Analytics. The potential candidate should be passionate about innovative Finance technology solutions and data analysis.Based in New Brunswick, NJ the NA FTS team is part of the broader Corporate Finance organization focusing on technology and process. The FTS team drives strategic finance transformation while running and improving existing operations. The team focuses on strategic priorities to modernize the finance function and is currently involved in the design and implementation of the latest ERP, data modeling and warehouse, Business Intelligence, planning & consolidation, and other Financial systems across the region. The Lead Analyst will support these new implementations to optimize the finance systems, ensuring straight-through data processing and improving data integrity while enhancing the user experience and support.Key Responsibilities:Support System enhancements and project implementations through requirements documentation, gapReporting to the Manager, Finance Technology Solutions NA, the Lead Analyst will develop, update, and validate complex mappings (G/L Account, Cost center etc.) between the source ECC system and SAP Central Finance system, resolving any issues/errors between the two systems. These activities will include daily replication, configuration, and master data mapping inconsistencies etc. and identifying integration points to ensure all other applications, processes, and functional areas impacted are aware of the Central Finance project and potential impacts to their initiative or timelines.The Lead Analyst will serve as a local platform Finance Product Owner supporting system enhancements and project implementations through requirements documentation, gap analysis, system tasks and post go-live support. This individual will partner with various Finance and IT management to ensure adherence to global system standardization and best practices as well as overall business strategy. This person will collaborate with the Finance Technology organization in the continuous improvement demand, prioritization, and governance process. The Lead Analyst will support system enhancements and project implementations with documentation, gap analysis, system tasks and mappings, end user training, and coordination between various teams and will provide financial close support. He/she will also collaborate with various functions including Finance, IT, Master Data, Corporate and Supply Chain to ensure adherence to global system standardization and best practices as well as overall business strategy.This role will create and manage complex mappings and hierarchies for master data objects, perform data analysis to ensure data integrity across the horizontal data chain, and identify and analyze data quality issues in the Financial systems. He/she will be involved in the exploration of new system solutions to address business needs, translating the design into user stories. He/she will also promote the usage of all implemented tools and proactively identify system solutions to standardize and streamline business processes (ad-hoc reports, automation, etc.), communicating financial business process and system solutions to peers across regions and platforms.QualificationsEducation:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, Finance or Accounting is required
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of applicable work experience including hands on experience in technical / finance roles in SAP ECC focusing on SAP FI/CO modules. (G/L, A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets).
  • Knowledge and experience working with SAP tables, sets, standard configuration, transactions, validation, and substitution rules, ALE & IDocs and interfaces with non-SAP systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with customization and enhancements in SAP ECC system, and developing Functional design specifications etc.
  • Ability to drill down into SAP ECC to gain an understanding of the financial postings that are occurring, identify processes driving those postings as well as exceptions to standard configuration.
  • Strong accounting/finance background and have a technical mindset, with experience in financial systems.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and systems skills.
  • Prior experience in data analysis, complex data mapping, and data reconciliation.
  • Able to think creatively, maintain and improve sound business processes while working in a dynamic, team environment.
  • Able to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively take on leadership roles.
  • Ability to organize workload, and the capacity to progress a range of tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners.
  • Highly motivated, committed, effective and supportive team member, able to work flexibly, quickly, and accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Very methodical and accurate, displaying a strong desire for high quality, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication as well as presentation skills.
  • Up to 10% domestic/international travel maybe required. Work location is flexible, if approved by the Company, except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP Cost accounting modules such as Internal Orders, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis.
  • Technical knowledge of integration of FI/CO with MM and SD modules.
  • Knowledge and experience of other SAP systems/applications such as S/4 HANA, Central Finance and FSCM etc.
  • Passion for data analytics, data modeling and custom data warehouse development, statistical analysis using cutting-edge financial tools and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of reporting and planning tools and applications such as SAP BI/BW, HANA, TM1, Anaplan, Tableau, Blackline, and Alteryx.
  • Experience with system enhancement process, project implementation, IT Service Management and testing protocols and tools such as HP ALM, qTest, Jira, Service Now etc.
