We enable a culture where our people feel valued and inspired, to grow and to deliver on the vision to be the better WealthWe are a growing team that offers a variety of opportunities for growth and development.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and creative Learning Experience Specialist to support the design and delivery of our annual learning curricula including delivering on Wealth bespoke programs such as Accelerating Change through Execution (ACE) and Accelerating Change through Technology (ACT). In addition, they will support the development of new and innovative learning solutions grounded in adult education methodology. As a learning experience expert, you will work with internal partners and business SMEs to plan, design, develop and deliver holistic learning experiences that strengthen employee capabilities.This role is responsible for incorporating the latest adult learning principles to develop solutions that increase engagement, enhance retention, develop capabilities, increase time to proficiency, and aid knowledge transfer to help achieve business results.You have a refined design eye, strong understanding of instructional design principals, and experience in multiple modalities (blended, eLearning, ILT, VILT, social, mobile, video). You can lead learning initiatives ranging in size, scope, and complexity, while advocating for the learner and learning experience.The Learning Experience Specialist will report to the CEX Program Manager.Accountabilities:

  • As the learning expert, you are responsible for the overall design, development, testing, implementation, and evaluation of outcome-based training solutions
  • You will conduct design needs assessments, identify scope, and make thoughtful recommendations for creative learning solutions, anchored in instructional design methodology
  • Identify, manage, and communicate tasks, deliverables, resources, timelines, and critical success factors
  • Be accountable for your deliverables and provide regular updates to your people leader, escalate issues where appropriate
  • Act as a thought leader; share your experience and insights with the larger team and key stakeholders
  • Contribute your ideas to assist the team with defining and maintaining processes / standards
Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of previous learning design & development experience.
  • Ability to apply adult education, workplace learning, social learning, and storytelling to ensure the desired outcome of instructional materials
  • Experience with graphic design, video development, micro & blended learning, with strong visual communication skills
  • Some knowledge and ability with industry standard tools for develop training using software like Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite design tools.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, producing, testing, and launching digital (eLearning, podcasts, video, virtual training) content that conforms to bank technology, learning management system and accessibility standards
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment and meet demanding deadlines
  • Ability to develop good business relationships with internal partners for strong collaboration
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills; can see the "big picture" in a complex environment
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent thinker and takes initiative to capitalize on opportunities or minimize problems
  • Strong planning, prioritization and time management skills are required
  • Successfully led previous projects and/or initiatives impacting the client experience
  • Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and manage multiple priorities

Education Requirement:
  • Post-secondary degree or certification in Adult Education, Instructional Design / Technology, or Curriculum Development
  • CTDP designation an asset
