WORK ILLUSTRATION:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Architecture Standards and Business Solutions, the Manager, Business Solutions leads the design, implementation, and management of assigned programs and processes in the functional portfolio of IT Governance & Business Solutions ensuring they are appropriately developed and integrated into the organization’s Information Technology strategy, planning and governance framework. S/he engages internal client partners for the alignment and integration of related programs into business unit operations and monitors the actioning of portfolio requirements including one or more of: Project/Program Management, Operational Governance and Data Management (including Records). The incumbent is responsible to ensure that business cases and initiatives are aligned to utilization of existing software assets and architectural standards. S/he oversees centralized measurement and reporting on corporate projects through weekly portfolio status updates, project audits and benefits attainment reviews, as well as administers reporting and analysis of IT divisional capital and operating expenditures. In addition, s/he provides contract management services, develops and executes revisions to the records management program as well as tracks and reports on divisional expenditures (goods and services) and IT expenditures (goods and services).Toronto Hydro has implemented a mandatory vaccination requirement for all its employees.
