Their strategic and analytical lens will ensure that recommendations are rooted in meeting both our business priorities and financial objectives.This position requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, changing environment, has a strong sense of ownership, and is excited to contribute to a fun and collaborative work environment.Heres how As a Marketing Manager on the Value Management team, you will have a number of important responsibilities, including:

  • Being the owner of “special bases”; looking at segments and subsets of the Koodo base who need special treatment beyond BAU activities.
    • A recent example of a “special base” is customers who have a BlackBerry device. BlackBerry announced that they were shutting down their services on January 4, 2022, which means that anyone in our base who has a BlackBerry phone will no longer be able to use that phone for calling, texting, or data services. This Marketing Manager needs to assess, strategize, and execution a program around this shutdown, to ensure that as of January 4th, we don’t have a group of customers without working phones.
  • Come up with the best treatment for a specific segment of customers to drive the best outcome (revenue generation, reducing churn, etc) while identifying and mitigating possible risks.
  • Create an end-to-end Go to Market plan for each segment; owning all aspects of making a strategy, campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Building a measurement structure to track key KPI’s over time.
  • Being innovative and constantly thinking of new ideas and approaches on how to push the portfolio forward and achieve better results.
  • Showcasing strong analytical and business problem solving skills by presenting simple business cases for all proposed pricing changes.
  • Designing presentations with strong storytelling and then providing a clear, confident delivery to various levels of team members, including senior leadership.
  • Working closely with the rest of the Value Management team, Koodo base management team, TELUS base management and various pricing, strategy & planning, channel and CE stakeholders.

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in business, marketing, economics, or equivalent combination of experience and education
