Please note: This position requires 24 x 7 scheduling flexibility.What You will doThe primary responsibilities of the Network Specialist II, include providing support for high problem resolution for complex voice and performance of remote changes to various networking and convergence technologies. Supported technologies will include Cisco WAN/Voice CUCM.CME, SDNWAN Networking, Acatel, Juniper switches, routers, DHCP, ATM and DNS. This is a second level 7X24 technical support role including working with customers, otherTELUS technical support personnel and management systems to support problem resolution and ensure timely and accurate changes to the systems, as required.Support complex WAN/LAN Data/Voice solutions for high profile dedicated clientCoach and Mentor diverse 24/7 teamComplete Macs/Projects and ChangesReceive and manage escalation calls from client; Proactive identification and resolution, provide real-time incident guidancePrepare training documentation (self-produced and coached)Resolve and document process gaps24/7 on-call technical and procedural support; flexible scheduling occasionally required24/7 point of escalation including Situation ManagementQualificationsYour ideal profile includesHigh level understanding of complex voice servicesBilingualism - French/EnglishMust be able to manage process within a team directed environment - Ability to compromise, conflict resolutionelf-directed ongoing professional improvementDemonstrated ability to multi-task and work under pressureProfessional Certification and ExperienceAdvanced Industry Certification in one or more supported technologiesMinimum Entry level certifications ex.
