Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.Scope of position :The Flight Operations Operational Excellence group is responsible for an array of transformational services including Process Excellence, Finance Analytics and Strategy Development. The organization supports business units across organization.The overall charter of the Flight Operations Operational Excellence group is to establish a culture of process, drive process outcomes in key finance transformation programs, and closely partner with different stakeholders to build process maturity. This is integral to the upcoming transformation within Transport Canada and the FAA where governance will be fully process based.This role is within the Flight Operations Operational Excellence group and is responsible for continuous improvement initiatives relating to Flight Operations processes, with the goals of aligning process standards, integrating lean enterprise system principles as well as ensuring processes are efficient, effective and compliant with company expectations, external regulations, standards and industry benchmarks. They will be a key member of the Process Excellence team and report directly to the Manager, Operational Excellence Analytics and Business Improvement.Establishing and maintaining relationships with management and subject matter experts will be required in order to build trust and cooperation with various departments, and to develop a deep understanding of the operation. This will be crucial in order to develop quality controls and performance metrics that add value to Flight Ops.Key Function & Accountabilities :
