We are looking for a professional pastry cook who is passionate about pastry/bakery products and willing to learn and grow with us!Permanent, full-time position: Candidate must have full availability and will be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. We pride ourselves on product innovation, work-life balance, and friendly working environment.Main responsibilities:· Prepare and decorate cakes, pastries, desserts and baked goods (including croissants and breads, specialty cakes, and other items as required)· Coordinate with front of house to ensure proper daily baked goods availability for our guests.· Contribute to custom cakes and dessert table production (working with fondant, tempered chocolate, etc)· Work closely with the Executive Chef in menu development and baking and pastry offerings.· Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safeExperience:· 1+ Year previous experience in professional pastry kitchen· Completion of a baking + pastry program is a strong assetIdeal Candidate:· Must LOVE food! We mean it.· Food Handler Certificate· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.· Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure/fast paced environment· Knowledge of chocolate tempering is a strong asset· Ability to stand for extended period of time· Ability to lift up to 20kg· Ability to work morning shifts, weekdays, weekends, holidays· Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask and listen to instruction.· Proof of work eligibility in CanadaSalary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience)Additional Pay: TipsSchedule:· 8 hour shift· Day shift· Monday to Sunday· Weekend availabilityJob Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship / Co-opSalary: $16.00-$20.00 per hourBenefits:
