Job Description

Job DescriptionIf you are passionate about computer graphics and working with leading engineers on Intels latest GPU/CPU architectures, then our physical team has opportunities for you. We are passionate about delivering best-in-class visual experiences that enable users to immerse themselves in a new visual future. We delivered discrete and integrated graphics to the client and datacenter markets.In this position as a Physical Design Expert, you will be part a world class physical design team developing groundbreaking high performance SOC/GPU that are targeted for high-end graphics, gaming, artificial intelligence, media processing and more. This is a great opportunity to join a talented team that is innovating in implementation and verification of multimillion gate designs in advanced process nodes across multiple foundries.Your responsibilities may include, but are not be limited to:

  • Physical implementation involving fullchip timing analysis/closure, synthesis, place and route, floor planning, clock tree, multi-power and routing leading to final GDS
  • Developing the Physical design implementation and verification flows as well as optimization capabilities
  • Optimization for improving the product level parameters such as power, frequency and area
  • Verification and signoff ranging from static timing analysis, formal verification, reliability, power crossings and layout verification
QualificationsBachelors Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Engineering or a directly related discipline with 8+ years of physical design experience. OR a Master’s degree in same fields with 4+ years of physical design experience. OR a PhD degree in same fields with 2+ years of physical design experience:Your expertise must be in one, or more, of the following areas:
  • ASIC physical design implementation
  • Product floorplanning and optimization
  • Design verification and signoff such as STA, Formal equivalence, IR&EM, layout verification etc.
  • CAD flow development and methodology definition for APR Auto Place and Route and STA Static Timing analysis on leading technologies
  • Power performance area (PPA) optimization through logic-design and EDA tool options
  • Demonstrated problem solving in ASIC implementation
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following Industry standard EDA tools: Design Complier, Genus, ICC, Innovus, Primetime, Tempus, Spyglass, RedHawk, LEC Formality, etc
Preferred qualifications
  • Unix, Linux, Perl or TCL programming
  • Graphics architecture understanding
  • Logic design and microarchitecture
