Working together, our global team is changing the way our business operates, delivering value to our member firms and driving positive change in the communities we serve.The OpportunityReporting to the Global Tax & Legal Finance Business Partner and working closely with the Global Tax & Legal Operations & Planning Senior Manager, this role will assist across a number of finance and operations activities within the Global Tax & Legal function. The primary purpose of this role is to create capacity for the Finance Business Partner to take on a more strategic Finance Business Parter role and provide project and operations support to Global Tax & Legal. The successful candidate will have responsibilty across the areas of invoice monitoring, in particular in relation to GT&L Technology vendors, transaction listing reconciliation, assisting GT&L stakeholders with procuement processes for vendor/supplier contracting, member firm recharges as well as ad-hoc project support for GT&L finance and business operations.What you will do:

  • Invoice Monitoring and Transaction Listing:
    • Work with member firms and vendor finance teams to insure that the invoices are received on time
    • Ensure that the charges on the invoices are per the KPMGI finance recahrge policy
    • Updating and correcting the GL account for transactions per the Global Finance policy
    • Manage the cost centre hierarchy and approval matrix including any changes to approvals, periodic review of approval limits and cost centre creation and changes
      • Work with stakeholders and educate them on cost rates
  • Procurement:
    • Provide guidance and assist in the preparation and submission of SOW/Order Forms following Global Procurement requirements
  • Member firm recharging:
    • Complete billing request forms as required for Finance Operations team to issue invoices/recharges to internal groups and member firms
  • Provide support to the Global Finance Business Partner on ad hoc project and analytical tasks
  • Provide support to GT&L on ad-hoc operations projects/activities
What you bring to this role:Experience & KnowledgeA degree in Finance, Commerce or Business AdministrationMinimum 3 years experience in a professional services finance or business operations functionSystems savvy: SAP S4 HANA, TM1/Cognos, Advance user of Excel, PowerPoint, experience managing large volumes of dataSkills & QualificationsStrong financial data analysis skillsExcellent Excel skills, with the ability to compile and analyse large volumes of dataAbility to work with remote, geographically diverse teamsAbility to use own initiative to identify practical solutions to resolve issues that ariseProven communication and relationship building skills with the ability to present financial and non-financial information in a clear and effective mannerIntelligent WorkingAt KPMG International, we are supportive of helping you to achieve a balance between your home and work demands.
