Job Description

Dawn InfoTek Inc. is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms and government sectors. We have been dedicated to delivering cutting-edge consulting services and recruiting all levels of IT positions for our clients.We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of QA/QC Test Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.Contract Duration: Until 10/31/22Extension: PossibleFTE: PossibleResponsibilities:

  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
  • Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
  • Create or maintain databases of known test defects
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
  • Testing API’s, CICD pipeline, using Newman collection
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
  • Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
  • 5+ years of experience developing automation in at least one language - Java, Python, or web-based technologies
  • 5+ years of expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium, Robot framework, Karate and Cucumber
  • 3+ years of experience in testing REST Services
  • 3+ years of experience with Docker and Jenkins
  • Good understanding on build tools like Maven, Gradle and Ant
  • 2+ years of hands on experience with JIRA & Confluence
Nice-To-Have Skills:
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Previous banking payment domain experience
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Degrees or certifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, business, Information sciences or other related field or equivalent experience
  • ISTQB certification is a plus
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $50.00-$70.00 per hourAbility to commute/relocate:
  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
