Topics include Chinese migrations, Chinese diasporas, ethnic Chinese identities, communities, cultures, and racializations outside of China, relations with China, impacts on their host societies, and relations with non-Chinese.Estimated course enrolment: 90 studentsEstimated TA support: Approximately 250 hoursClass Schedule: Wednesdays 18:00-20:00 In-person LecturesSessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2023 – April 30, 2021Salary:Sessional Lecturer I: $8,489.67Sessional Lecturer I, Long Term: $8,869.25Sessional Lecturer II: $9,085.58Sessional Lecturer III: $9,301.90Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.Minimum Qualifications: Master of Arts in History or related field required.
