Job Description

Choosing Air Transat means having a competitive compensation and a full range of benefits, including travel benefits.The Coordinator assists in monitoring quality standards for all Air Transat commissary and catering products and processes. He/she will conduct production and operational inspections, identify issues to the director and help to analyze and correct deficiencies. He/she will also participate in the overseeing of the catering/commissary operations as requiredResponsibilities

  • Monitor catering and commissary operations across the Air Transat system to ensure production and operational standards are met;
  • Inspect, test and measure quality of catering/commissary products;
  • Monitor catering operational performance:
    • Data logger testing
    • Health Canada Inspections
    • Safety and security inspections
  • Conduct commissary consumption inspections;
  • Report inspection results to management and recommend corrective actions to improve processes;
  • Ensure monitoring of corrective actions in accordance with internal processes;
  • Investigate catering-related flight delays and crew/customer reports.
  • Support special events
  • General kitchen and last mile provider support
Requirements
  • High school diploma;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field;
  • Analytical thinking with acute attention to detail;
  • Excellent organizational skills and initiative;
  • Able to set priorities and manage stress;
  • Bilingual (French/English) – written and spoken an asset
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel software (intermediate level);
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work weekends, nights;
  • Able and Willing to travel.
