We are seeking a skilled Water Technician for a significant project in Trail, BC.Position Overview: As a Water Technician, your role is critical to our water management project. This position involves 10-hour shifts in a rotating schedule over a 2-year project. Responsibilities include various tasks related to water treatment, monitoring, and maintenance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, maintain, repair, and operate mobile water treatment equipment.
  • Continuously optimize and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Collect and compile sample data for stakeholder reporting.
  • Calibrate equipment according to manual specifications.
  • Interpret results and adjust equipment settings.
  • Perform equipment and site inspections.
  • Respond to equipment malfunctions and system alarms.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in water treatment or related field.
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment.
  • Independent work capability and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and strong listening skills.
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility for shift-based work.
Requirements:
  • Certifications in water treatment or related field (preferred).
  • Physical fitness for manual labor and outdoor conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license.
