On behalf of our Valued Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Business Analyst (Cybersecurity) to join our Client #39;s team on a Contract basis. This role is Hybrid, requiring 2 days onsite each week, and the Client is based in Vancouver, BC.Summary of the Role:The Business Analyst will support multiple large-scale cybersecurity projects, working collaboratively with stakeholders to assess risks, document privacy concerns, and develop sustainment plans. This position requires extensive documentation expertise and stakeholder management, with the potential for contract extension based on project needs.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed risk and privacy assessments for cybersecurity initiatives.
• Produce high-quality governance documentation, process maps, and implementation plans.
• Manage business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
• Collaborate with technical resources to address requirements related to firewalls, networks, and server equipment.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for deliverables.
• Support testing, change management, and rollout activities to ensure project success.

Core Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of business analysis experience in large IT projects within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong technical knowledge, including firewalls, VLANs, networks, and server infrastructure.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Splunk, CyberArk, and Cisco firewalls.
• Proven experience managing projects with budgets of $1M+ or lasting over a year.
• Expertise in documentation and sustainment processes.

Desired Skillsamp; Experience:

• Knowledge of identity management and security frameworks.
• Ability to support data migration and system interface activities.
• Experience developing and executing detailed test plans.
• Strong facilitation skills for stakeholder workshops.
• Self-starter capable of handling high-demand workloads with minimal supervision.

TermsThis is a 5-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
