On behalf of our public sector client, Ignite Technical is recruiting for an Intermediate QA Analyst.Summary of the Role:The Intermediate QA Analyst will perform functional, system, load, automation, and performance testing on a Big Data solution for a public sector client. This role supports quality assurance efforts through comprehensive testing processes, including automation and performance optimization.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end testing for Big Data applications, focusing on functional, system, load, automation, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools, enhancing CI/CD pipeline efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to debug, write, and maintain code for testing, using SQL, ETL, Java, Shell Scripts, and integration technologies.
• Report findings and recommend improvements to enhance application performance and reliability.
• Assist in data warehousing and analytics testing as needed to support data integrity.

Core Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years in technology roles focused on testing, coding, and debugging.
• Proficiency with SQL, ETL, Java, and Shell Scripts.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks and CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Background in Big Data and analytics solutions testing.
• Strong expertise in functional, system, load, and performance testing.

Desired Skillsamp; Experience:

• Experience in data warehousing and analytics testing.
• Familiarity with integration technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Terms:This is a hybrid role requiring one day per week onsite in Edmonds, BC, with the remainder of the week remote. The initial contract term is five months, with the possibility of extension. Candidates must complete security checks and supply their own laptop.
