Job Description

On behalf of Ignite Technical Resources, we are recruiting for a CIP Compliance Consultant to support a key initiative. This opportunity is open to candidates residing in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada.Summary of the Role:This role requires expertise in CIP standards, with a focus on CIP-007 (Cyber Security - Systems Security Management) and CIP-010 (Cyber Security - Configuration Change Management and Vulnerability Assessments). The successful candidate will guide and support compliance initiatives, oversee incident investigations, and lead cross-functional process improvement projects aligned with regulatory requirements.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on CIP standards and compliance practices.
  • Guide the alignment of enterprise program documents with compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and implement CIP mitigation and action plans.
  • Oversee investigations of non-compliance, conduct root cause analysis, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate program/process improvements, including drafting policies, procedures, and job aids.
  • Support regulatory processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Core Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NERC CIP standards or cyber security principles.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience developing and managing compliance programs.
Desired Skillsamp; Experience:
  • Expertise in CIP-007 and CIP-010 standards.
  • Change management experience.
  • Background in regulatory compliance investigations.
Terms:This is a one-year contract position, with an anticipated start date of December 9, 2024, and an end date of December 9, 2025. The role may involve cross-functional collaboration and occasional travel, depending on project needs.
