At Alpine, we build the dream, and the team.Job Overview:As a Janitorial Operations Road Supervisor, you #39;ll manage a dynamic portfolio of retail sites. Your mission: ensure quality, foster strong client relationships, and mentor teams to deliver outstanding results. This position combines leadership, operations, and hands-on action to guarantee Alpine’s continued success. You will act as the first point of contact for the client regarding operations, escalations, and work orders. You will require flexibility in shift times, as interaction with the night cleaning crew will also be required.Frequent travel within a geographic region is required and must have valid driver’s license with clean driving abstract.It is imperative that the successful candidate has front line experience to assist and mentor subcontractors where required with completion of site-specific duties and responsibilities.Why You’ll Love Working Here:· 3-weeks paid vacation,· 5 Paid Personal Days,· Medical/Dental Coverage (70%),· Flexible Work Schedule,· Monthly vehicle and gas allowance,· Performance based bonus.YOU MUST HAVE SOME COMMERCIAL CLEANING EXPERIENCE.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality standards by conducting weekly or monthly on-site inspections and audits using a user-friendly quality control software application.
  • Execute operational plans effectively by meeting client needs, exceeding expectations, and building a strong network of subcontractors to represent and build the Alpine Brand.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to guarantee compliance with requirements such as security clearances, GST, Business Licensing, WCB, Liability Insurance etc.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Lead and mentor janitorial network of subcontract teams to achieve superior performance and foster collective growth.
  • Leverage knowledge to ensure proper maintenance and scheduling of care of a wide variety of equipment, including: burnishers, auto scrubbers, and other standardized cleaning equipment.
  • Empower teams with hands-on training, support, and mentorship. This includes spot cleaning as required and leading by example to demonstrate best practice and efficiency (Hands on!).
  • Navigate challenges proactively, resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Control budgets and ensure subcontractor hours are in line with subcontractor budgets provided by Alpine.
  • Elevate workplace standards by maintaining equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and always exceeding expectation.
Required Skills/Abilities:· Ability to manage retail janitorial contracts with 3+ years of supervisory experience, ensuring success in budgets, client relations, and operations.· Leadership skill that inspires teams, foster collaboration, and drive operational excellence.· Proficiency in resolving challenges quickly and effectively, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
