DescriptionGeneral information:Hitachi energy is a global leader in technology, and the largest supplier of transformers in the world. We are pioneering the digitalization of transformers, while working on the frontier of renewable energy and ultra-high voltage AC & DC applications. The trainee will be in charge of supporting the quality team at the Varennes plant. He/she will participate in projects to implement IT solutions through process mapping, improve work tools (Excel files), follow up corrective actions for various improvement activities, and develop performance indicators (Microsoft PBI). The trainee will be required to work with a variety of stakeholders including managers, technical specialists, engineers, and operators. Daytime schedule Internship of 4 months - 8 months preferred Hybrid: 50% working from the office, 50% working from home Responsibilities:Develop graphical interfaces for key performance indicators (various applications) under quality and operations supervision. Migrate documents to EtQ. Audit system : Follow up on corrective actions to ensure their closure and effectiveness Use the Audit IT system to update corrective actions Build a PowerBI report to provide visibility on the status of corrective actions Support the digitalization project of quality books Map the steps and data with the technical specialists Enter the data in the new platform Continuous improvement of the Test Technicians work: Develop interactive work instructions to standardize testing Your background:Fluent in English and French (written and oral) Working knowledge of workflow analysis tools (process mapping). Demonstrated ability to organize work, set priorities with a team, and achieve objectives to meet project objectives. Ability to make decisions and autonomy Communication and presentation skills with employees at all levels.
