Job Description

Project ManagerPosition Title: Project ManagerLocation: Waterloo (Hybrid working)Job Type: Full-timeExperience Level: Mid-Senior LevelOverview:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager with strong Agileexperience (including SAFe), and a proven track record in leading organizational restructuringand team transformation programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving thesuccess of strategic projects, fostering team engagement, and managing transformationinitiatives across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end project management for ensuring alignment with business goals andsuccessful delivery of outcomes.- Apply Agile methodologies, to facilitate project execution, continuous improvement, andscalability across teams and departments.- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define project objectives, strategies,and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with broader business transformation goals.- Drive team realignment, process optimization, and change management initiatives to enhanceproductivity, engagement, and collaboration.- Serve as a change agent and transformation leader, guiding teams through Agile/SAFeceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Program Increment reviews.- Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making and solutions are collaborative and innovative.- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on project statusto stakeholders, ensuring transparency and addressing issues proactively.- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, feedback loops, andoptimization of Agile processes.- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and quality expectationsare met.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s/Master degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.- 8+ years of project management experience with a focus on Agile methodologies andorganizational transformation.- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), including leading PI Planning and otherSAFe ceremonies.- Proven experience in managing restructuring and team transformation programs in large-scaleor complex environments.- Ability to align project goals with business strategy and communicate effectively acrossmultiple levels of the organization.- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with ademonstrated ability to influence and guide teams through change.- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results, improving efficiencies, anddriving operational success.- Experience in managing projects in complexamp; pressure environment and handling cross-functional collaboration.Powered by JazzHR
