Job SummaryReporting to the Employee Transition Manager this position is responsible for providing support to the manager on executing the transition plan for the Whiteshell Closure Project. The main focus of the role is to provide targeted one-on-one support to employees. This will be accomplished through connecting participants with education, skills training, and work-based training and placement opportunities. The Employee Transition Coordinator will ensure to document all communications and follow-up with participants, partners and providers as required. The coordinator will be responsible to develop a talent inventory, as well as individual employee profiles. The incumbent of the position will be knowledgeable of all the tools available to the employees and will make recommendations to improve or perfect those tools.The coordinator will be responsible to discuss, sit in on meetings, track, record, and report on the progress to plan and ensure that statistical data are accurate and current.This position requires to be onsite (Pinawa, Manitoba) 75% to 100% of the time. The incumbent of the position will need to be willing to travel from time to time within the province and to our home office in Ontario on occasion.QualificationsEducation
