Job Description

1 Temporary Full Time Behaviour Analyst, Regional Support Associates (Windsor Office)Position Information: Position SummaryPosition will ensure effective, ethical and quality behavioural services are provided. The nature of services includes but is not limited to consultant for the purposes of assessment, implementation and evaluation of interventions for individuals who have an intellectual disability and are experiencing emotional, behavioural or medical difficulties which are beyond the scope of their caregiver’s abilities to address. The incumbent minimally holds a post-graduate degree relevant to social services and is registered with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Extensive experience in the field of developmental/intellectual disabilities is also required.Qualifications

  • Minimum completion of a Master’s degree relevant to the field of social services and a recognized member in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
  • Extensive experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, including in dealing with individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.
  • Experience in a health care, mental health or social services.
  • Previous experience in conducting psychosocial/behavioural/healthcare assessments on individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are mandatory, as is the demonstrated ability to deal congenially with a variety of people effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle and respect confidential information with tact and diplomacy are essential.
  • Successful Candidate possesses the ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Planning of and preparing for presentations and training programs.
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of computer software applications and automated record keeping.
  • Demonstrated ability in adherence to client rights, understanding client’s ability to direct care and client confidentiality.
  • A valid Driver’s License, with a minimum G2 standing, and access to a reliable automobile for extensive travel throughout Southwestern Ontario.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
  • A willingness to learn more about this rewarding, exciting and unique field.
  • Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check.
  • Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
  • Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization.
