We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full service turnkey solutions.Start your career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and make an impact on our patients lives.The Associate Analytical Scientist will play an integral role in supporting Catalent by providing analytical support in developing and validating analytical methods for Assay, Cleaning Validation, and Investigations. The Associate Analytical Scientist will also develop and validate analytical methods as well as transfer analytical methods between Catalent and customers.The Role

• Assist with drug formulation, development process development, product validation, and quality control.
• Analyse samples from various sources to provide information on compounds or quantities of compounds present; troubleshoot and maintain HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography).
• Using analytical techniques and instrumentation such as HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography), UHPLC, GC and spectroscopy (IR, UV, MS).
• Interpreting data and adhering to strict guidelines on documentation when recording data.
• Developing new techniques for the analysis of drug products and chemicals; working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

The Candidate

• Minimum College Diploma in Science, Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field preferred
• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in analytical chemistry/pharmaceutical R&D.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical and/or GMP facility an asset.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, terminology, equipment and materials.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of chemical, biological and physical testing and analyses including the preparation of materials, equipment and samples.
