***Emails regarding next steps will come from Bamboo HR - Please Ensure to check your junk mail when applying for jobs***IT Systems AdministratorCannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a IT Systems Administrator in our Windsor, Ontario. The IT Systems Administrator is a liaison between technical personnel and end-user departments while evaluating and translating requirements to technical associates and/or vendors where appropriate. This position is the functional subject matter expert for the primary IT system for the organization, Consequently, this position requires a detailed understanding of the features and functionality of both IT software and hardware. The role will be responsible for supporting the Server and Network team tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.   • The role will be required to work across the functional business groups in the definition of requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, maintenance, and implementation of IT infrastructure Systems, servers, storage, and network.
  • Responsible for the Servers Hardware and Software of the CCTS sites.
  • Coordinate with the local support Users and computer changes related to the Domain.
  • Maintain CCTS network by identifying requirements, monitoring network performance.
  • Monitoring Security Access by reviewing VPN and firewall logs.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments using approved vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment.
  • Coordinate with IT Manager, any policy changes related to servers and network access.
  • Maintain Network Security and follow current accepted procedures.
  • Design, plan and implements assigned data communications projects.
  • Create technical support documentation for the area or responsibility.
  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration services across all locations.
  • Collaborating with third party vendors to meet internal security requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Knowledge of various HW and SW.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Wireless networks.
  • Knowledge of VOIP technologies.
  • Knowledge of Video technologies such as Cameras, NVRs, TV Presentation Streaming Servers.
  • In depth knowledge of DMVPN, VPLS, EIGRP, VLANS, ACLs.
  • Knowledge of various network devices.
  • Knowledge of VPN technologies.
  • Knowledge of SNMP monitoring and logging software.
  • Experience dealing with at least one Tier-1 automotive manufacturer.
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite Products.
  • Programming skills would be an asset.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to prioritize requests.
