Primary Responsibilities

• Strategically identify new business opportunities through effective market research, networking and prospecting to meet and exceed sales goals
• Responding to customers’ requests and inquiries in a timely manner and required to understand customer needs
• Build relationships with both internal and external customers
• Maintain open communication and follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service
• Prepare and submit equipment & packaging supply quotations
• In cooperation with the Sales Manager, negotiate agreements with prospective and current clients
• Maintain and track all activity through company CRM system
• Represent Crawford Packaging ethically and professionally offering the best solutions for our customers
• Adapt and respond to changing conditions, priorities, technologies, and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a sales or business development capacity (knowledge of packaging and distribution an asset)
• Previous Solution based selling experience an asset
• Experience with an ERP and an above average knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Superior Customer Service coupled with active listening skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external customers
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills and strong presentations skills
• Ability to take initiative and own an autonomous work ethic
• Effective organization and time management skills
• Focus on growth and employee/personal development
• Ability to analyze data and use it to drive conversations and objectives
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment; able to navigate and resolve ambiguity
