Job Description

ST. JAMES-ASSINIBOIA SCHOOL DIVISION“Great Schools for Growing and Learning”SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST CLINICIANFull-time (100%) Term Position2021-2022 School year commencing September 7, 2021Applicants must possess:

  • a valid school clinician’s certificate in psychology issued by Manitoba Education
or be eligible to obtain said certificate
  • minimum of a Psychology degree at the Masters degree level
  • ability to assist in the provision of assessment and psychological counseling for
students and families
  • ability to assist schools and families in dealing with crisis and critical incidents
  • skills, aptitude and knowledge to work effectively with small groups and one on
one with parents, staff and students in a collaborative manner
  • ability to liaise with outside agencies to provide services to students and
families as appropriate
  • demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • experience in Manitoba schools preferred
