Job Description

St. James–Assiniboia School DivisionGreat Schools for Growing and LearningREADING CLINICIANMB Remote Learning Centre - After-School ProgrammingPart-time (50%) TERM position to June 30, 2023This role is to support and develop programming for EAs working directly with students tomaintain and enhance reading fluency and comprehension skills in an afterschool engagementprogram. Also, this position will include creating lesson plans and resources to be included inthe Manitoba Remote Learning Support Centre repository. The target audience is students ingrades 1 and 2.Applicants must possess:

  • valid school clinician’s certificate issued by Manitoba Education or to eligible to obtain
said certificate
  • minimum of a Master’s Degree with emphasis on learning literacy
  • demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • experience in working with students with special needs
  • experience in Manitoba schools desirable
