Through partnerships with global suppliers and manufacturers, dealers in Canada and the United States, and our huge social media presence, we now proudly serve the entire North American market.Divine Flooring is seeking a talented Architecture & Design Sales Representative with a strong connection within the A&D community in Manitoba. This position will be based out of Winnipeg, with travel required throughout the province. The successful candidate will also be asked to travel to Saskatchewan for training and coverage.Primary Job PurposeThe focus of this role will be to establish and foster relationships within the Winnipeg region for the Distribution division of the Company. The Sales Representative will be responsible for day-to-day interaction with Divine dealers, creating a network and cultivating clients, selling products and managing the process of Distribution sales. The [A&D and Territory Sales Representative] will also be expected to plan events and activities to develop and foster relationships within the Architect & Design community.Specific Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of the Divine product line and pricing with the ability to demonstrate technical understanding of the products
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new sales opportunities with Flooring retailers
  • Build relationships with local builders; generate and create leads and prospects
  • Attend functions to promote Divine branded products
  • Resolve client complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions to ensure complete customer satisfaction; communicate with client throughout entire project
  • Coordinate the delivery and pick up of product samples for clients
  • Set up new dealer displays
  • Schedule and perform Product Knowledge training
  • Conduct presentations to small and large groups within the A&D community
  • Follow sales from presentation to completion
  • Tracking product development through its life cycle & staying current on new product information and specifications
  • Able to competitively benchmark product
  • Prepare and submit sales activity reports as requested or required by Management
  • Communicate with the Company’s relevant departments and troubleshoot problems when required. Coordinate all missing items with dispatch when required
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and attitude at all times
  • Travel required in Manitoba region and Saskatchewan on a limited basis.
RequirementsSkills Required – Technical
  • Microsoft Office – all main applications Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Must maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Familiar with basic computer systems, file structures and operations.

Education and Experience Required
  • Experience in the flooring industry is a strong asset
  • Sales experience with carpet, tile and hardwood flooring
  • Post-secondary education is preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license and willing to travel within Manitoba to meet with dealers.
    • Some travel in Saskatchewan may be required on a limited basis.
