We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in our Finance Department located in our Winnipeg Head Office. Accounting Clerks contribute to the financial reporting requirements for the company.Responsibilities:Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions; reconciling general ledger accountsPreparing month end accounting entriesEntering, matching, and coding supplier invoices; reconciling supplier account statementsPreparing payment batches as well as cheque runs and wire transfersProcessing a high volume of invoices; investigating invoice discrepanciesLiaising with vendors as requiredQualifications:Experience in working in an office environment AP, AR would be a benefitA combination of related accounting education and work experience will be consideredAbove average communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and work toward deadlinesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsDemonstrated working experience with MS ExcelRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.Interested candidates should select the Apply icon to upload their cover letter and resume by May 4, 2021 .Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
