Job Description

LROGOVAbout the OpportunityOur Public Sector client is in need of two administrative assistants to help during a period of increased workload.Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing support in administrative fields in the areas scheduling, correspondence and document control and other general administrative/executive services for an office
  • Conducting analysis of requests for services, applying established central agency and departmental procedures, and identifying courses of action that may not be readily apparent and/or require some adaptation of procedures
  • Identifying sources of information, researching background material, undertaking preliminary analyses of issues, and preparing correspondence, briefing materials and/or drafting reports or components of presentations
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on processes, procedures, and requirements, and coordinating the processing of requirements through internal or external service providers
About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalency (must be able to provide copy)
  • Experience in preparing and editing documents (e.g. correspondence, minutes, spreadsheets, presentation decks, and speaking notes)
  • Experience providing administrative support to senior managers such as managing calendars, organizing meetings, preparing meeting notes, and information management
  • Experience in preparing travel arrangements and travel expense claims
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Valid security clearance at a level of Enhanced Reliability
About the Job
  • Location: onsite (can work out of Winnipeg, Burlington, Sarnia, Sault Ste Marie, or Ottawa
  • Duration: ASAP until March 31, 2023 with a possibility of extension
