The PGT also manages trust money on behalf of individuals under the age of 18 as well as those who are under a legal disability. Qualifications:Essential:
  • Successful completion of a secretarial/administrative assistant training program or extensive experience performing a full range of clerical duties and administrative support including; preparing letters, filing, data entry, dealing with clients in person or over the phone, and reception coverage
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Experience responding to crisis situations while maintaining diplomacy and tact
  • Experience with entering data accurately with attention to detail
  • Ability to work cooperatively and constructively in a team environment
  • Experience establishing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience working with sensitive documentation and confidential information
  • Experience exercising initiative and sound judgement while working independently under minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal communication skills
Desired:
  • Knowledge of the function of the Public Guardian and Trustee
  • Experience working with diverse individuals such as those with mental disability or mental illness
Duties:The incumbent will provide secretarial/administrative support to two or more Case Managers who manage complex and large caseloads. The incumbent performs a variety of secretarial, administrative and clerical duties such as organizing mail, composing correspondence, responding to queries from clients and external agencies in person or by telephone and providing accurate typing/word processing services. The incumbent is responsible for all duties related to opening and closing client files which may include the issuance of required correspondence, updating of client data and paying bills and debts as directed.
