This position supports Accounts Payable and Revenue Assurance and other Network Service Center (NSC) Finance functional areas by leading and participating in special projects and initiatives.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Provide review services for various NSC activities to mitigate revenue leakages and identify risk
  • Mitigate risk through the implementation and performance of controls Lead and assist with Network Service Center (NSC) Finance initiatives Create & maintain appropriate process documentation
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Management and provide recommendations as required Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Set and achieve milestones for timely completion of assigned projects and initiatives
  • Display and practice CP’s leadership competencies
  • Lead by example and adhere to all CP Policies
  • Prepare and support monthly reporting as required
  • Coordinate the activities of key stakeholders related to initiatives and summarize results through tables and
  • presentations
  • Drive process improvement
  • Work with departments to gain efficiencies
  • Lead Revenue Assurance projects and support NSC Finance initiatives
  • Responsible to make best practice recommendations as required
  • Drive efficiency by leading continuous improvement initiatives, leading projects and promoting process automation.
PO POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Minimum 5 years in a relevant management role
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and Master Data practices considered an asset
  • Experience leading projects and process improvements
  • Financial designation or business degree with financial background considered an asset
  • Ability to influence employees to deliver on targets
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and files simultaneously
  • Driving for process compliance / improvement while maintaining a high level of employee and customer satisfaction
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
