If you are a detail-oriented designated appraiser looking for a unique, hardworking and collaborative team that strives to provide best-in-class service to dynamic clients, we want to meet you!Summary:The Appraiser for Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson works across the full spectrum of commercial real estate valuation. The Appraiser functions as an independent contractor and has the skills and abilities to fulfill the full scope of practice of an AIC designated appraiser. The Appraiser is involved in data collection, market research, revenue and market analysis, and the creation of detailed cost analysis. A successful Appraiser requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills, along with strong communication and client relations experience. The Appraiser is part of the Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson network, and will work with clients of Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson, and has opportunities to develop new business and manage client relationships. As a contractor, the Appraiser has the flexibility to work remotely, and receives support by the corporate office team.Required Skills and Abilities:

• Post-secondary degree in Business or Commerce or a related field required.
• Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) designation status required.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in commercial real estate appraisals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly technical writing.
• Ability to work effectively in a rapidly growing/changing environment with a high degree of resourcefulness and adaptability.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to solve advanced and multifaceted problems.
• Attentiveness, attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Dedication to providing timely, reliable and courteous service to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Full-service appraisal of commercial, industrial, retail and multi-family residential properties.
• Point-in-time appraisals for mortgage financing, divestitures, mergers/acquisitions, etc.
• Conducting feasibility and reserve fund studies.
• Creation of market studies, including but not limited to insurance reports.
• Market lease rate analysis.
• Mentorship and knowledge transfer with peers.
