Some of the qualities/skills we are seeking in candidates include:- Knowledge of Asphalt plants, conveyors, loaders, equipment considered an asset- Passion for safety and knowledge and understanding of the Safety Act and relevant standards- Willingness to learn and take direction- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools- Perform general maintenance and general repairs and regular service on equipment daily- Perform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records- General cleanliness of assigned equipment.- Perform other related duties as required- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, bend and lift up to 80 pounds- Physical abilities including long periods of standing, lifting, working at heights- Minimum of 1 year related experience required- Ability to communicate orally and in writing- Welding/torch cutting experience desired- Communicate effectively with Plant OperatorJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $22.00-$26.00 per hourBenefits:
