Job Description

George Wakefield Foods Inc. is a distributor of fresh and frozen food products. Our diverse product lines contain everything from fruit juice, milk, and cheese, to our main product line of ice cream. We have operations spanning from Saskatchewan to Ontario, with our head office located in Winnipeg, MB.Title: Assistant Purchaser/Order AnalystAddress: 1225B Plessis Road, Winnipeg, MB R2C 3L9Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all sales orders, report daily to operations.
  • communicate errors to processor
  • assist purchaser with inventory management
  • create short reports
  • release orders to warehouses before deadlines
  • communicate any cancellations or special instructions to warehouses
  • prepare requisition orders to replenish stock
  • set up new products in system
  • update pricing in system
  • release warehouse orders from EDI
  • process warehouse orders
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a variety of tasks, have good problem solving, planning, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity.We appreciate all applications but only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $38,500.00-$40,000.00 per yearBenefits:
