Job Description

We have an Associate Producer role at WorkerBee.TV just for you!WorkerBee.TV uses video and multimedia strategically to inform, educate and inspire their audiences. We operate in a client-intimate, customized products and services organization where we plan, create and deliver video and programming for our clients who use our platform to maximize engagement and revenues, from a social media video to a multi-season, docuseries.The Associate Producer will report to the Producer, to assist with the process of organizing, scheduling, creating, designing, and editing docuseries and related multimedia content streams that are derived from a defined program. We want to share our clients’ stories with the world, you’re going to help us do that.Core duties and responsibilities:An Associate Producer’s responsibilities vary, depending on the series. Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Administrative duties including but not limited to creating deal memos, invoicing, budgeting, expense tracking, reporting
  • Participate in the quality assurance process through all stages of production to ensure that deliverables meet all technical and creative requirements
  • Maintain production schedules - Use project management software to execute on video and creative projects and anticipate potential issues in advance
  • Maintain production tracking spreadsheets for episode/series information, credits, financials, and other important details needed
  • Working with our clients to create storylines and a plan to turn their vision into reality
  • Providing excellent and responsive customer service to our clients and vendor partners
  • Work with writers and producers to bring creative concepts to life for our clients
  • Planning with our clients to facilitate local and international video shoots
  • Scheduling and handling interview guests
  • Participate and collaborate with Producers to develop concepts, budgets, and proposal for new video series
  • Inventory and equipment management (camera, lighting, etc)
  • Assist the Producer in managing external contractor’s relationships, tasks, and expenses
  • Identify improvements or risks in process, people or technology and work with your Producer to escalate and find solutions
  • Other duties as assigned.
Attitudes, skills and characteristics that are required to support your success in this role will include, but are not limited to the following list:
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or an education in any Production and Post-Production related field such as Creative Communications, Media, Film Studies, etc
  • Previous experience in video production, television, documentaries or docuseries
  • Passion for making quality video content that meets the needs of clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong decision-making and leadership abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and conflict management abilities
  • Creative storytelling and communication skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in all aspects of production
  • You take your work seriously, but not yourself!
