Position:Red River Co-op is recruiting for Bakers to join our new Seasons of Tuxedo Food Store, located at 755 Sterling Lyon Parkway in Winnipeg, MB.Essential responsibilities of the Baker include but are not limited to the following:Be a liaison and public relations representative for the Co-op within the communities we serve.Deliver world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.Utilize established Co-op recipes and procedures to measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter.Roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pastry, cookies, and related products.Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets and bake in oven. Observe products while cooking and adjust controls.Present a neat, clean, fresh, well-merchandised department and related work areas (sales floor, coolers, freezers, prep area, etc.)Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed. Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are to Co-op specifications, including cleaning of all equipment and display cases.Ensure that all food safety and food handling standards are strictly adhered to.A full responsibility list will be provided to candidates selected for interviews.About You:You have a minimum of two years of experience baking in a retail bakery department.
